He Is Faithful That Promised

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrew 10:23

The teenagers who had been burglarizing my parent's neighborhood have been arrested. They told the police that they set the shed on fire because they were bored. Mom and dad are still scared. They are still taking turns sleeping at night so that someone is always "on guard" as mom calls it. The boys took mom and dad's mailbox because they could. According to the teenagers, they tried other mailboxes but my parent's came out of the ground easily and every body else's didn't.

I pray that mom and dad will get back to feeling safe and comfortable.

Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun: But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity. Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

Ecclesiastes 11:7-10
