He Is Faithful That Promised

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrew 10:23

I am loving this four day weekend. But it is almost over. Boohoo. I feel like I have gained twenty pounds with all the good food I have been eating. The new food for me this year was a stuffed mirliton. It will be okay if I never have another one as long as I live. The new recipe for this year is for killer cookies. My sister made some and I would have been happy just eating them for our thanksgiving dinner. I am going to make some for my coworkers and for me too of course.

My class is getting a little order to it. I am not as stressed out at the end of my eight hours. My newest three year old is developmentally challenged. We are not suppose to diagnose the children but I've taught enough three and four year olds to know he is different. He disrupts the class because he never sits down with us. The others want to get up and wander with him and I have tried to explain to them that God made him different and I want them to help me show him how we are suppose to sit still and quiet when it isn't play time. He calls me gan-maw. The other kids tell him that I am not his grandma. And I always use my name when I talk to him but he still says gan-maw. He also constantly kisses my hands and spanks my hinnybutt, as he calls my behind, and pulls the loose skin on my elbow. He has poor speech but I have figured out he says grandma, hinnybutt, pottie, pinch you, eat, don't want to and he tells me you welcome when I thank him for doing something I asked. His really bad habit is to run out of the room if he doesn't like something I have said.

December is just a few days away. Christmas is coming up fast. This year I plan to make some candy. Something I used to do every christmas but I haven't made much of anything for a long long time.

**************************

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Galatians 5:22-26
