He Is Faithful That Promised

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrew 10:23

I wasn't going to blog but I received an email asking for an update. I am deeply touched so I will bring you up to date. Thank you for caring.

Louisiana was surprised by snow in december 2009 and again this past february. I used to want to live where there was snow on the ground yearly. I have gotten rid of everything I had that proclaimed "let it snow" and I don't find any joy in my snowman collection any more. Snow is pretty, I will admit to that but I am scared to drive in it and I don't need the extra stress I feel when it is just predicted for my area.

My son and daughterinlaw came home for christmas. They live in minnasota but are planning another move this year. When we talk on the phone I try not to mention the cold weather in louisiana. Sometimes it slips out and he tells me it is below zero where he is at. If I lived there I would probably have broken bones from all the shaking. I have chattering teeth and knocking knees when it is in the thirties.

I made it through the hard freeze with only one busted water pipe. Thankfully the electricity never went out during the extremely cold temperatures.

Every thing is pretty much the same. I get up in the morning and go to work, come home, get ready to go to bed, try to get a restful night of sleep, get up and go to work, count the minutes, hours, days to friday. Yea two days off from work!!!!!!

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:29-32
