He Is Faithful That Promised

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrew 10:23

The weather has been beautiful. But spring has brought the wild flowering hedges into bloom which has caused sneezing, watery eyes and a runny nose even though I am taking zyrtec.

Two weeks ago on garbage pickup day, I side swiped a garbage can and knocked loose a side mirror on my car. I saw the can but a big truck was coming towards me and I decided to move closer to the shoulder. A lot of the roads in my area have been black topped but do not have center lines painted on them and they are more narrow. I still thought I wasn't that close to the container but I admit I was paying more attention to the middle of the road and the truck instead of the shoulder of the road. That mistake cost me $150.

My sister and I went to mom and dad's yesterday. Mom told us that dad fell saturday. He has been falling at least once a week now. While we were there my sister saw him leaning over to light a pile of trash on the ground that he had poured gas on. She was able to get to him and stop him. He doesn't seem to realize or accept that he can't do certain things. His doctor has told him he is going to be falling and needs to be more careful. Dad is not being careful at all. He refuses to use a walker. We have two different kinds for him. But he says he doesn't need one.

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Romans 8:24-27

I am sorry for your accident, but it may have saved your life, because you might have been hit otherwise. I am also sorry for your family troubles. May God be merciful to you all, and have a blessed Easter Mrs. P.
