He Is Faithful That Promised

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrew 10:23

I am surprised it is almost a new month beginning. And before we get the thanksgiving stuff put away it will be time for christmas once again.

I had to take two days off from work because I was sick. I thought it was the virus that my coworkers and some children from the daycare had been home with. But my stomach is still having fiery pains. I may have to go to the doctor if it doesn't clear up.

My new problem I am now having to deal with is creepy crawlies on the door and getting in the house. Today and as of right now I am watching for a frog that came in the door. I have been battling one every morning going to work. They have been getting between the storm door and wooden door but I have been able to ease past it. Then I get to my car and find them on it. It is nerve wracking. This afternoon I slowly opened the door being prepared but not thinking one would be on it this late in the day. I let out a scream because two was on the door. One jumped to the storm door but the other jumped into the living room. I haven't found it yet. I am sitting with the broom close at hand and a towel to throw on it if I can so it won't go any further into the house. I was so used to K protecting me, now I have to figure these calamities out for myself. As long as I have lived here I have not had anything getting on the door like this. They got on the porch and K would remove them when he came home. I have been spraying them with wasp spray because I don't have to get close to them and chasing them off the porch. This past month they have been clinging to the door and this has been stressing me out knowing I have to open the door and hope they stay off me and outside of the house. If I knew why they suddenly decided to get on the door I would definitely change whatever it was.

Mom seems to be getting weaker and not able to stand for any length of time. Today she said she was hurting all over. I told her that she had a flu shot friday it might be from that since her immune system is real low now even though they never bothered her before. If she isn't any better next week we are going to have to get her in to see a doctor.

Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Sorry about your mom! I sympathize with you about the frog problem. Thus far I have only one stuck on my bedroom window. I am sure there are others lurking around. I worry that bees and/or other bugs will get in. Only once we had a frog in the house, but my husband was still alive then, and he caught it. We also have to be careful not to let the geckos in the door when we open it.
