He Is Faithful That Promised

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrew 10:23

Wow, another week gone by. Wednesday, April 1st, was an interesting work day. Several coworkers took down the easter decorations and put up christmas decorations in the office before the bosses came to work. Then we all turned in a two week notice that we were quitting. To get even, the director gave us a notice saying we would be getting a raise. NOT!!!! We had a lot of fun.

Yesterday we had a tornado warning issued and had to put the whole daycare in the hall way. The tornado passed close by us, we had a few trees blown over and we were without power for a little while. The kids did great, we didn't use the T word. We sang happy songs with them and when the weather monitor gave the clear signal, we went back to the rooms to finish nap time.

I was able to work extra hours again this week. I don't mind working 7-6. I arrive at the daycare a little after six by choice, to get the room set up, drink coffee and chat with my two coworkers who work the 6-2 shift. Wednesday evening I worked in the afterschoolers room, with nine boys and girls between the ages of six thru ten. Thursday evening I worked with the three year old's that are still potty training. They will be promoted to my room when they are potty trained. Well, they are suppose to be, but accidents do happen.

*******************************

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 5:6-11

How awful that children spend 11 hours a day in day care! I am glad they have someone nice like you to stay with them.
