One more week left in this month. The holidays are almost upon us. I have been looking through recipes thinking I might try a new one for the family gatherings.

I finished a camouflage colored baby afghan for a co-worker. I only made five dollars more than the cost of yarn. I didn't mind though it gave me something to do.

We have had some cool temperatures for the mornings, truly wonderful. I spent saturday morning freshening my long sleeved clothes. I love the new colors for this year's winter stuff and hope to add some to my wardrobe. First I have to buy two new tires for the car.

I am happy that birds are coming back to my yard. I think the hawks must have left the area. I have missed my feathered friends.
