Dad fell again but this time he was inside and the carpet kept him from really hurting hisself. Mom wishes he wouldn't even try to walk; she wants him to use his wheel chair. She's afraid he will fall and break more bones.

My coughing is better but now I have an ear infection. I am praying that when I get well this time I will stay well for a good long time.

June is here. It doesn't seem possible. The temperatures have been in the 100's and the heat indexes have been as high as 110. I feel for the men and women who have to earn their living working outside in this heat.

I am fighting a cough once again. I finished my last round of antibiotics and three days later I am coughing. I don't want to take antibiotics so soon so I am taking mucinex, claritin, and sudafed. I am still going to work. I eat cough drops all day long.

Dad is making progress. The therapists are still seeing him. He just doesn't do the exercises when they are not there. But he is up and taking steps with a walker.
