I finished the week with the talent show. The director told us to choose something simple. I tried several songs before deciding to do the hokey pokey with my class. Five of my 3's and 4's just stood on the stage. The rest of them had a blast. All the classes had fun, the two year olds were so sweet doing "if you're happy and you know it clap your hands."

I am counting the days till I will be a floater again. That means I will be a helper in the other classes. My class will be at preschool from 8:45 to 11:45. I will get to rock the babies and play with the toddlers. I have missed doing that.

I have had a cold which I have been treating with generic sudafed. I think it was brought on by going out in the extreme heat then going into air conditioned buildings.

Happy fourth everyone!!!! Even with the fire ban I have been hearing the popping noises of fireworks.

I have six more weeks before preschool starts and I am counting the days. This past monday I worked in the infant room. I have to say I enjoyed it tremendously even with all the crying and stinky diapers because it got me out of my classroom for the day.

I am losing my cool too often. I haven't turned my problem totally over to God. I have told myself that I did. But I know I wouldn't be having so much trouble with the class if I let Him have control.
