The daycare closed thursday and friday because of the winter storm we had in the south. I don't know if we are going to get paid for the two days. But I was glad I didn't have to try and drive on frozen highways. I will be glad when things start getting back to normal.

Yesterday I noticed robins in the front yard. Seeing them and then hearing that Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow makes me think that we really will have an early spring. The weather station has said that another winter storm will make its way south next week. I am so ready for spring.
